Course Objectives:
The course aims to provide students for transforming knowledge, observation, and experience into design concepts and practices by using research methods. This process finalizes with a design research report.
Course Content:
The course aims to focus on creating an original design concept that includes processes such as researching, analyzing a design problem, practicing, and proposing design solutions by using visual tools and techniques. The design concepts and products produced in this class can also meet the design sector’s needs. Students have regular meetings with their advisors during the whole process.

Presentation of the project: Defining the project content, purpose, theme and problem. Determination of media and expression styles. Determining the contribution, specific aspects and target audience of the project.

8 | Midterm Exam: Submission and presentation of the preliminary draft of the "Project Report" in accordance with the "Project Regulation" given (It should include the logical framework and the business plan of the project). Presentation of a "concept board" describing the visual identity and exit points of the project. | |

10 | Meeting with advisor: Review of the revised file and structuring of project processes. Determination of the method, activities and media/s and budget to be used. Concluding technical analysis. | |
