Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to introduce students the basic design elements and principles. It is an introductory course to apply these elements and principles on given assignments. The conceptual dimension of design is questioned and evaluated through contemporary examples.
Course Content: 

Cultural, historical and social context of design is debated. The basic elements and principles of design is introduced. The various examples of design from international designers are shown comparatively. Thinking, looking and making processes of design are analyzed in practise.

Course Methodology:
