Course Objectives: 
To familiarize the students with the essentials of contemporary management approches and practices.
Course Content: 

The course  is organized around  the analysis of (a) basic managerial functions such as planning, organizing, leading, directing  and controlling; (b) critical managerial skills such as decision making, leadership, communication; and (c) special issues concerning ethics, social responsibility and external  social, economic and technological forces which shape  the theory and practice of managing organizations. The content of the course is also designed to familiarize the students with the basic concepts, principles, models, theories, and practices of organizations, organization structures and organizational processes.
