Course Objectives:
The aim this course is to provide the necessary fundamentals of communication and media research methodologies to the students. Via this course, students will learn how to begin, develop and write a research project by applying the theoretical knowledge.
Course Content:
During the course, students will learn how to determine research problem, develop hypothesis and research questions, determine dependent and independent variables, to test validity and reliability of the research, basic ethics rules, research methodologies in social sciences, data collecting techniques, research process, research design, data analysis, writing research report. In process of the course students will design and conduct on their own research projects.
