Award-Winning Films of the 21st Akbank Short Film Festival at Our University!
In collaboration with Akbank Sanat, we are pleased to add a new screening to the series of award-winning short films that we have been organizing for the past sixteen years.
On Wednesday, 24 December, at 13:00, a special selection of films—chosen from among 2,346 submissions representing 73 countries and deemed worthy of recognition—will be screened free of charge at the Mini Cinema Hall of the Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.
Outstanding Achievement by Our Graduates in the TRT Future Communicators Competition
Our Public Relations and Publicity Department graduates, Sezin Cörüt, Şeyma Özsoy, and Ebru Güzel, were awarded the Third Prize at the TRT Future Communicators Competition 2025 with their project titled “Women Empowered Through Digital.”

The 130th session of the Media Seminars Series, organized as part of the RTC 482 Media Seminars course by the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Yeditepe University’s Faculty of Communication since 2015, is taking place this week. The seminar, titled “Imagined Geographies, Real Identities: The Cultural Boundaries in Digital Games”, is organized by Assist. Prof. Özge Erbek Kara, PhD and will feature Academician Instructor Gökmen Kaya as the guest speaker.
