“Freedom“ which is photo taken by Merthan Kortan, the Coordinator of Yeditepe University Communication Faculty Communication Agency (ila) in Sarajevo was awarded an honorable mention in the Street Photography category at the MonoVisions Photography Awards 2018 photo competition.

Photographers' black-and-white photographs were evaluated in many different categories (Abstract, Architecture, Conceptual, Fine Art, Landscape, Nature and Wildlife, Nude, People, Photojournalism, Portrait, Street Photography and Travel), in order to discover photographers from all over the world and to promote the recognition of photographers.
