Course Objectives: 
The Aim of the course is help the student to get an basic information about Ottoman Empire and Republic of Turkey during the process of change. It aims to help student understand the present with infrastructure of political history.
Course Content: 

Movements of Reform and innovation in the Ottoman Empire, Situation of Turkey During World War 1 and 2,, the results of the implementation of the new structuring in the Republic of Turkey, changes in the transition from one-party life and a multi-party system, military coups and social changes, the discussions of freedom and democracy.

Course Methodology:
